A THOUSAND YEARS IN THE MAKING

Axia takes the millennia-old rules of Mastiha-making, and artfully twists them, aligning seamlessly with the spirit of our times. Distilled from the aromatic resin of the Mastiha tree, a gnarled and twisted evergreen found clutching to the hillsides of the Aegean island Chios, Greece, Axia is a new-to world, premium, extra dry Mediterranean spirit.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

An immediate fresh, botanical aroma with hints of citrus, pink roses and the herbal notes of green peppercorns balanced by the earthiness of Mediterranean cypress.

TASTE

Initially fresh with notes of pine, the taste is reminiscent of coastal Mediterranean forests. The earthier botanicals are balanced with the citrus bitterness of grapefruit.

FINISH

A soothing roundness of bergamot delivering a soft and velvety mouthfeel.

• Maraschino Liqueur
• A dash of thyme bitters & saline


Stir over ice cubes in a mixing glass and fine strain into a chilled martini glass.

BLOODY MEDUSA

Restoration in a glass, Axia style

Pour the Axia into a highball. Add ice cubes, bloody mary mix, and stir. Garnish with celery, olives, and a lemon wedge.

AXIA TONIC

A refreshing spin on a summer favourite

Pour the Axia into a chilled wine glass, add ice cubes and top up with tonic. Garnish with a rosemary leaf, a star anise and 5 pink peppercorns.

Add all ingredients to a highball full of ice. Top with pink grapefruit soda. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
